Our Pastor

Pastor Sidney D. Milton, Sr. began his preaching journey at 16, delivering his first sermon on August 31, 2008, at Greater Center Start Baptist Church. He was mentored by the late Reverend Dr. Limmie Downs and received his license to preach on September 7, 2008. Pastor Milton was ordained on July 6, 2014.

He has been the pastor of Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR, since February 2, 2020. Before this, he served at Longley Baptist Church under Reverend Dr. Dwight D. Townsend, Sr. Additionally, Pastor Milton is the Executive Vice President of the Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arkansas, Inc. He is also a Master Mason (Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Arkansas) and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Pastor Milton holds a Bachelor's in Business Management from Western Governors University and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. He is married to Simone, and they have two children, Sidney Jr. and Skylen Simone
